Plumber for Geyser Installations – Immediate Start

You'll sort out burst geysers, leaks and blockages for the residential plumbing company in Worcester. People who do well here are steady, honest and not scared to ask when something is unclear.

The site is in Worcester; early starts mean public transport timing matters, so check your route before applying. There's a probation period of three months before the contract is confirmed.

• Install and repair soil and waste pipes to SANS 10400 Part P
• Take photos and complete the insurer's claim report after each geyser job
• Clear blocked drains with a rodding machine and inspect lines with a drain camera
• Replace burst geysers and fit vacuum breakers, drip trays and pressure control valves to SANS 10254
• Install copper, PEX and PVC piping for new bathrooms and kitchens
• Issue plumbing Certificates of Compliance for completed installations
• Order fittings from the supplier and keep the van stocked

• Able to talk politely to home owners about damage and costs
• Plumbing trade test certificate or an Occupational Certificate: Plumber (NQF 4)
• PIRB registration as a Licensed Plumber, so you can issue plumbing CoCs
• At least 3 years as a qualified plumber, including geyser replacements

• Fully stocked service van with a fuel card
• Call-out bonus for every after-hours job you complete
• Paid PIRB renewal fee
• Protective clothing and safety boots replaced yearly
