Process Controller (Gold Plant) – Immediate Start

The coal washing plant near Durban Central needs operators who can run their area safely on a 24-hour shift cycle. If you like clear targets and knowing where you stand, this is for you.

Home base is a coal washing plant on the Durban Central side of KwaZulu-Natal. You'll start with a short induction before working on your own.

• Call maintenance for bearing noise, belt damage or leaks
• Log plant readings and downtime on the shift log
• Adjust reagent dosing and air flow to hit recovery targets
• Start up, run and shut down crushers, screens and conveyors in sequence
• Hand over the plant to the next shift with a clear status report

• At least 1 year operating a processing plant
• Willing to work 12-hour rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays
• Grade 12 with mathematics and physical science
• MQA minerals processing certificate at NQF 2 or higher
• Basic computer skills for SCADA screens and logs

• Control room experience
• N4 to N6 or a diploma in Extraction Metallurgy
