Job Description

This post is in Sasolburg (Free State). Please only apply if you can travel there daily. The first two weeks are spent shadowing someone experienced.

The work, day to day

Strip beds, make them up with fresh linen and square the corners.
Vacuum, mop and dust rooms from top to bottom.
Restock minibars, amenities and tea trays and note what was used.
Clean bathrooms, showers and toilets with the correct colour-coded cloths.
Report broken fittings, leaks and damage to maintenance.
Mix chemicals safely and store them as the MSDS sheet shows.

Must-haves

You work neatly and notice a hair on a pillow
Fit enough to lift mattresses and push trolleys all day
Hotel, guesthouse or domestic cleaning experience
You can finish around 14 rooms in a shift
