Job Description

You'll clean and set up guest rooms at a conference hotel in Thohoyandou to a checklist standard. If you turn up on time and finish what you start, you'll fit in quickly.

This post is in Thohoyandou (Limpopo). Please only apply if you can travel there daily.

The work, day to day

Vacuum, mop and dust rooms from top to bottom.
Hand in lost property with a written log entry.
Update room status on the housekeeping app or board after each room.
Report broken fittings, leaks and damage to maintenance.
Mix chemicals safely and store them as the MSDS sheet shows.

You'll need

You work neatly and notice a hair on a pillow
You can finish around 14 rooms in a shift
Weekend and public holiday work
Grade 10 or higher

Helpful, not essential

Laundry machine and steam press experience
A supervisor course or time spent running a floor
