Job Description

You'll keep the line running at an industrial bakery in Ballito, feeding, checking and packing product all shift. It's the kind of job where doing the basics well every day gets you noticed.

You'll be based at an industrial bakery in Ballito. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. You'll start with a short induction before working on your own.

What you'll actually do

Record batch codes and counts on the hourly production sheet
Check product for size, weight and seal faults and pull out rejects
Clean down machines and floors at the end of each run
Wear hairnets, beard covers and gloves in food-safe zones
Help the machine operator clear jams and reload hoppers
Stop the line with the emergency stop if anything jams or looks unsafe

Must-haves

No problem wearing full PPE, including ear protection
Able to stand for a full shift in a noisy, warm area
Neat, reliable and on time for shift start
Available for rotating day and night shifts
