Job Description

Here in Mokopane, a plastic moulding plant needs steady people who can repeat a task well for eight hours. This role rewards consistency more than flash.

Home base is a plastic moulding plant on the Mokopane side of Limpopo.

The work, day to day

Wear hairnets, beard covers and gloves in food-safe zones
Help the machine operator clear jams and reload hoppers
Check product for size, weight and seal faults and pull out rejects
Hand over at shift change with notes on rejects and stoppages
Change over packaging film and labels when the line switches product

You'll need

Neat, reliable and on time for shift start
Medically fit; some food plants ask for a medical check
Basic reading and counting for batch sheets
Grade 10 minimum, matric an advantage
Able to stand for a full shift in a noisy, warm area

Extra points for

Some basic first-aid training
A food handler or basic HACCP awareness certificate
