Quality Sorter (Packaging Factory)

You'll keep the line running at a snack food factory in Mossel Bay, feeding, checking and packing product all shift. You'll work with a small crew, so being easy to work with matters as much as skill.

Home base is a snack food factory on the Mossel Bay side of Western Cape.

• Feed raw material or empty packaging into the machine at the start of the line
• Follow lock-out procedures when helping with cleaning inside machines
• Move full bins and crates to the next station with a trolley
• Change over packaging film and labels when the line switches product
• Stop the line with the emergency stop if anything jams or looks unsafe

• No problem wearing full PPE, including ear protection
• Basic reading and counting for batch sheets
• You follow hygiene rules without being reminded
• Available for rotating day and night shifts

• Free PPE, overalls and hairnets
• Night-shift allowance on top of basic pay
• Path to machine operator after six months

• Name the products you worked on before, like "biscuit line" or "juice bottling". Factory recruiters read that faster than a job title.
• Mention that you can work rotating shifts right at the top. It is the first thing most factories filter on.
