Job Description

Pick up afternoon or evening sessions with a remedial learning centre in Cape Town CBD and put your subject knowledge to work. It suits someone who likes knowing exactly what a good day's work looks like.

You'll report in Cape Town CBD. Relocation is not covered for this one.

What you'll actually do

Log hours and sessions on the agency's booking system for payment
Plan sessions that target the exact topics the learner is failing
Prepare learners for control tests with short timed practice drills
Write a short progress note for parents after each session
Work through past exam papers and marking memos with learners

What you need

Reliable internet and a quiet place to teach for online posts
Clear, patient way of explaining ideas
Available at least three afternoons or evenings a week
Own transport for home tutoring posts
Currently studying at university, or holding a degree or diploma
Distinction or strong pass in the subject you'll tutor
