You'll catch shoplifting and stock losses at a fashion retail store in Epping before they cost jobs. You don't need to be the loudest person in the room, just the one others can count on.

Location: Epping, Western Cape. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first. There's a probation period of three months before the contract is confirmed.

• Review CCTV footage to confirm suspected theft
• Detain suspects lawfully and call SAPS, then write a statement
• Search staff bags at exit points according to store policy
• Attend court as a witness when a case goes to trial
• Share trends with the store manager each week

• PSIRA registration, Grade C at least
• Available for retail hours including month-end weekends
• Matric or equivalent NQF Level 4
• Knowledge of lawful arrest and search under the Criminal Procedure Act

• Experience giving evidence in court
• Previous store detective experience with case outcomes
