Receiving Clerk Assistant (Goods Inwards) – Immediate Start

Delivery days start early in Pinetown, and a parcel sorting hub needs you on the bay before the trucks roll. Someone who likes a bit of variety, but also likes doing things the right way, will enjoy this.

You'll be based at a parcel sorting hub in Pinetown. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps.

• Check goods received against the delivery note and flag shorts
• Sweep the bay and clear shrink-wrap after each loading
• Stack returns and empties neatly for the next count
• Strap and secure loads so nothing shifts in transit
• Load trucks from the load sheet in drop order, last stop first
• Get proof-of-delivery notes signed and stamped at each drop

• Friendly with customers at the door
• Willing to travel on routes that return late
• Comfortable starting from 04:00 or working late loading shifts
• Honest; you will be handling customer goods and cash-on-delivery slips

• Basic furniture assembly skills
• Speaking more than one local language for customer drops
• A Code 8 or Code 10 licence (a route to becoming a driver)

• Meal allowance on long-route days
• Help to get your own licence through the company later
• Uniform and safety shoes provided
