Receiving Clerk Assistant (Goods Inwards)

Delivery days start early in Vereeniging, and a beverage depot needs you on the bay before the trucks roll. Bring a calm head on busy days and you'll be fine.

The work is in Vereeniging, Gauteng, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day. There's a probation period of three months before the contract is confirmed.

• Get proof-of-delivery notes signed and stamped at each drop
• Load trucks from the load sheet in drop order, last stop first
• Ride with the driver and carry goods into customers' premises
• Offload containers by hand, counting cartons as they come off
• Sweep the bay and clear shrink-wrap after each loading

• Friendly with customers at the door
• Able to lift and carry heavy items all day
• Willing to travel on routes that return late
• Honest; you will be handling customer goods and cash-on-delivery slips

• Say what hours you can start. Loading bays often hire the person who can be there at 04:00 without fail.
