Reception Security Officer (Office Tower) – Permanent

The gate at an office tower in Lephalale is the first line of safety, and you would be standing at it. You'll work with a small crew, so being easy to work with matters as much as skill.

The site is in Lephalale; early starts mean public transport timing matters, so check your route before applying. Hours are mostly Monday to Friday, with the odd Saturday in busy months.

• Check visitors' IDs and capture them on the visitor app or in the gate register
• Call the armed response or SAPS number from the call list when needed
• Patrol the perimeter on a set route and scan checkpoint tags
• Keep the guardhouse clean and the OB up to date for the relieving officer
• Test the panic button and radio when you come on duty
• Hand out and collect contractor access cards

• Able to work 12-hour day and night shifts, including weekends
• Clear, neat handwriting for the OB and registers
• Speaks and writes basic English
• Grade 10 minimum; matric preferred
• PSIRA registration at Grade C or higher, paid up to date

• Firefighting or evacuation training
• First-aid Level 1 certificate
• A Code 8 licence for vehicle patrols

• Chance to be upgraded to Grade B with training
• Stable long-term site contracts
