Job Description

Good hires change teams, and at this temporary employment service in Sandton you'll make them happen. Bring a calm head on busy days and you'll be fine.

Location: Sandton, Gauteng. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first. Hours are mostly Monday to Friday, with the odd Saturday in busy months.

What your day looks like

Report on time-to-fill, pipeline and placement figures each week.
Take detailed job briefs from hiring managers and clients.
Write clear, honest job ads and post them on job boards and LinkedIn.
Give every shortlisted candidate feedback, including those who did not get the job.
Screen CVs and run phone interviews to check fit and salary expectations.
Place temps on assignments and check timesheets under the Labour Relations Act rules for TES.
Run group assessments for volume intakes of 30 to 100 people.

What you need

At least 1 year of recruitment, sourcing or recruitment admin
A diploma or degree in HR or a related field, or strong agency experience
Comfortable with targets for agency roles
Confident on the phone with candidates and managers
Honest about salaries, deadlines and outcomes

Helpful, not essential

A niche market such as IT, nursing or engineering
Experience with psychometric or skills assessments
