Reliability Engineer (Rotating Equipment) – Experienced

Real machines, real budgets and real downtime targets at the food and beverage factory in Krugersdorp. If you learn fast and don't mind being shown things twice, you'll settle in within a few weeks.

You'll report in Krugersdorp. Relocation is not covered for this one.

• Prepare the maintenance budget and report monthly on spend
• Sign off modifications and keep drawings and records current
• Check pressure vessels for compliance with the Pressure Equipment Regulations and SANS 347
• Hold the GMR 2.1 appointment and keep machinery safety legal on site
• Manage shutdowns: planning, spares, contractors and safe restart
• Analyse breakdowns with root cause methods and fix the cause, not the symptom

• Able to manage contractors and budgets
• Working knowledge of the OHS Act and General Machinery Regulations
• BEng or BSc Eng in Mechanical Engineering, or a BTech or Advanced Diploma for technologist roles
• Three or more years working as a qualified engineer, in industry or consulting
• Registered with ECSA as Pr Eng, Pr Tech Eng or Candidate, depending on level
• Confident with 3D CAD software and engineering calculations

• Reliability or asset management certification
• Project management certificate
