Relief Cleaner (Multiple Sites) – Immediate Start

A cleaning contractor in Kathu needs dependable cleaners for an university campus. Expect to be trusted with real work from your first week.

Home base is an university campus on the Kathu side of Northern Cape. Overtime comes up in peak season and is paid.

• Refill toilet paper, hand towel and soap dispensers
• Wipe desks, door handles, lift buttons and light switches
• Vacuum carpets and mop hard floors following the daily cleaning schedule
• Clean glass doors and internal windows without streaks
• Report broken fittings, leaks or empty stock to the site supervisor
• Run a scrubber-dryer machine on large tiled areas
• Clean the kitchenette, wash cups and wipe down the fridge and microwave

• You take pride in a job done properly, even when nobody checks
• Grade 10 or higher
• Able to stand, bend and walk for a full shift
• Honest, because you work around laptops and personal items
• Able to start early, often 05:00 or 06:00
• Clean criminal record for most corporate sites

• Supervisory experience for team leader posts
• Previous contract cleaning experience with a reference

• UIF and paid leave under the cleaning sector rules
• Uniform and cleaning gloves provided
• Paid overtime for weekend deep cleans
