Relief Cleaner (Multiple Sites)

You'll keep a corporate office park in Kimberley clean, stocked and fresh before the people arrive. It's a practical job: you'll see what you got done before you go home.

This post is in Kimberley (Northern Cape). Please only apply if you can travel there daily.

• Report broken fittings, leaks or empty stock to the site supervisor
• Clean the kitchenette, wash cups and wipe down the fridge and microwave
• Sign the ablution checklist on the back of the door after each clean
• Mix cleaning chemicals at the dilution shown on the label, never by guesswork
• Empty bins and take waste to the correct recycling or general skip
• Clean and disinfect toilets, basins and urinals several times a shift
• Refill toilet paper, hand towel and soap dispensers

• Honest, because you work around laptops and personal items
• Able to stand, bend and walk for a full shift
• You take pride in a job done properly, even when nobody checks
• Grade 10 or higher

• Chemical handling training from a supplier or contractor
• Training on a floor polisher or scrubber machine
• Supervisory experience for team leader posts

• UIF and paid leave under the cleaning sector rules
• Paid overtime for weekend deep cleans
• Permanent contract once the site contract is secured
• Uniform and cleaning gloves provided

• Arrive neat and early for the interview. It is a small test of how you will arrive for a 05:00 shift.
• List each site you have cleaned (office, mall, school) and how long you stayed. Contractors want people who stick with a site.
