Job Description

Guests at this travel agency in eMalahleni meet you first, so the stay starts at your desk. It's the kind of job where doing the basics well every day gets you noticed.

Home base is a travel agency on the eMalahleni side of Mpumalanga. Weekend work is on a roster, so you won't be on every weekend.

The work, day to day

Take card pre-authorisations and settle folios at checkout.
Manage OTA bookings coming in from online travel channels.
Handle complaints at the desk and log them for the duty manager.
Store guest details securely in line with POPIA.
Run the night audit, close the day and print the flash report.

You'll need

Clear spoken and written English
You can work rotating shifts, including nights
Honest with cash and card payments
Confident on a computer and quick to learn a property system

Extra points for

A foreign language such as German, French or Portuguese
Revenue or yield management exposure
Opera PMS or Protel certificate
