Job Description

At this business hotel in Kariega, you'll turn bookings into happy stays. You don't need to be the loudest person in the room, just the one others can count on.

Home base is a business hotel on the Kariega side of Eastern Cape. Overtime comes up in peak season and is paid.

What you'll actually do

Handle complaints at the desk and log them for the duty manager.
Quote flights, car hire and holiday packages on a GDS such as Amadeus or Galileo.
Book shuttles, dinner reservations and game drives for guests.
Allocate rooms and pass early check-ins to housekeeping.
Balance your cash float and card slips before handover.
Manage OTA bookings coming in from online travel channels.

Must-haves

Confident on a computer and quick to learn a property system
Matric
Clear spoken and written English
You can work rotating shifts, including nights
