Job Description

This furniture retail branch in Cape Town CBD needs someone friendly who can fix account problems while the queue moves. If you turn up on time and finish what you start, you'll fit in quickly.

You'll be based at a furniture retail branch in Cape Town CBD. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps.

What you'll actually do

  • Log complaints and pass them to the store or branch manager.
  • Update customer details and file signed forms for audit.
  • Greet customers, find out what they need and manage the queue ticket system.
  • Track parcels, reissue waybills and arrange redelivery at the counter.
  • Process returns, exchanges and credit notes under the Consumer Protection Act.

You'll need

  • Retail or customer service experience of at least a year
  • Good on a computer and point-of-sale system
  • You can stay polite with a long queue watching
  • Presentable and approachable with all kinds of customers
