This furniture retail branch in Midrand needs someone friendly who can fix account problems while the queue moves. It's a practical job: you'll see what you got done before you go home.

You'll be based at a furniture retail branch in Midrand. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. Most weeks are 45 hours, in line with the BCEA.

• Log complaints and pass them to the store or branch manager.
• Update customer details and file signed forms for audit.
• Call customers when repairs or orders are ready to collect.
• Greet customers, find out what they need and manage the queue ticket system.
• Book repairs and warranty claims and give customers a reference number.

• Retail hours, including Saturdays, Sundays and month-end
• Accurate with cash and paperwork
• Good on a computer and point-of-sale system
• Matric (Grade 12) certificate
• You can stay polite with a long queue watching
• Presentable and approachable with all kinds of customers

• A Customer Service NQF certificate
• RICA and cellular product knowledge
