Returns Processing Hand

You'll keep a busy frozen-food distribution centre in Kuruman stocked, picked and moving out on time. If you turn up on time and finish what you start, you'll fit in quickly.

This post is Kuruman-based, with most of your time spent at a frozen-food distribution centre.

• Stack finished orders on pallets and stretch-wrap them tight
• Scan every item so the system shows the right stock count
• Pick orders from pick slips or a handheld scanner, bin by bin
• Label boxes with the correct waybill and route sticker
• Move pallets with a hand pallet jack to the dispatch lane
• Unpack returned parcels and sort them into resell or write-off

• South African ID or a valid work permit
• You're fit enough to lift boxes up to 25kg all shift
• Willing to wear safety boots, a reflector vest and gloves
• Punctual, with reliable transport home after late shifts

• Experience in a cold-chain or freezer environment
• Basic computer skills for capturing counts

• Staff canteen with subsidised meals
• Safety boots, overalls and freezer jackets supplied
• Chance to be trained on forklift after probation

• If you have done any stock counts, packing or even shelf work before, list it first. It shows you already know how to handle stock.
• Arrive for the interview in closed shoes. Some warehouses walk you through the floor straight away.
