Returns Processing Hand – Experienced

This is steady, physical warehouse work at a pharmaceutical warehouse in Potchefstroom, and nobody minds if it's your first job. You'll work with a small crew, so being easy to work with matters as much as skill.

Home base is a pharmaceutical warehouse on the Potchefstroom side of North West. Most weeks are 45 hours, in line with the BCEA.

• Wear thermal gear and rotate in and out of freezer zones on schedule
• Report damaged, short or expired items to the shift supervisor
• Count stock during weekly cycle counts and month-end stock takes
• Unpack returned parcels and sort them into resell or write-off
• Label boxes with the correct waybill and route sticker
• Pick orders from pick slips or a handheld scanner, bin by bin

• South African ID or a valid work permit
• You're fit enough to lift boxes up to 25kg all shift
• You can read product codes and count accurately
• Happy to work shifts, weekends and public holidays in peak season
• Clean criminal record (most warehouses run a check)

• Permanent appointment for reliable temps after peak season
• Safety boots, overalls and freezer jackets supplied
• Chance to be trained on forklift after probation

• Arrive for the interview in closed shoes. Some warehouses walk you through the floor straight away.
• Say clearly that you can work nights and weekends. Peak-season hiring goes to people who are available.
