Job Description

Housekeeping keeps a serviced apartment block in Secunda running quietly in the background. You'll work with a small crew, so being easy to work with matters as much as skill.

This post is in Secunda (Mpumalanga). Please only apply if you can travel there daily. Start is planned for the beginning of next month.

What your day looks like

Inspect rooms against the checklist before release to front office.
Mix chemicals safely and store them as the MSDS sheet shows.
Do evening turndowns with chocolates and curtain closing.
Vacuum, mop and dust rooms from top to bottom.
Report broken fittings, leaks and damage to maintenance.

What you need

Honest and trustworthy around guest belongings
Grade 10 or higher
You can finish around 14 rooms in a shift
You work neatly and notice a hair on a pillow
Hotel, guesthouse or domestic cleaning experience
