Home base is an open-pit coal mine on the Brits side of North West. You'll start with a short induction before working on your own.

Review baseline and issue-based risk assessments with section managers
Prepare for inspections by the mine inspector and follow up on instructions
Help run emergency drills and check refuge bays
Inspect workplaces underground and on surface against the MHSA and the mine's standards
Track safety statistics like LTIFR and report them each month
Take dust, noise and heat measurements with the occupational hygiene team
Train safety representatives and support the health and safety committee
