Safety Representative Coordinator (Road Works)

The municipal infrastructure project in Bloemfontein needs a safety officer who is on the site, not stuck in the container office. Good for someone who wants to build a solid track record they can put on their CV.

• Compile and maintain the site health and safety file under the Construction Regulations 2014
• Keep appointment letters and competency certificates in the file
• Write and review risk assessments and safe work method statements
• Run site inductions for every new worker and visitor
• Prepare monthly safety statistics for the client's agent

• SACPCMP registration as a Construction Health and Safety Officer
• Good understanding of the OHS Act and Construction Regulations 2014
• You write clear reports in English
• SAMTRAC or an NQF-accredited health and safety qualification

• ISO 45001 internal auditor course
• Fall protection planner training
• Diploma in Safety Management

• Clear growth path to a construction health and safety agent role
• Laptop and data for reporting
• Paid SACPCMP renewal and CPD

• Name the kind of projects you have covered, like roads, housing or wind farms. Clients want sector experience.
• Put your SACPCMP registration number and category first. Many CVs without it are rejected without being read.
