Safety Representative Coordinator (Road Works) – Immediate Start

Safety files, inspections and toolbox talks: this building contractor in Centurion needs someone who can do all three well. It's a practical job: you'll see what you got done before you go home.

Location: Centurion, Gauteng. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first.

• Prepare monthly safety statistics for the client's agent
• Run site inductions for every new worker and visitor
• Inspect scaffolds, excavations and edge protection daily
• Check that fall protection plans are in place for work at height
• Audit subcontractor safety files before they start work
• Track PPE issues and replace damaged equipment
• Hold toolbox talks on topics that match the week's work

• Good understanding of the OHS Act and Construction Regulations 2014
• SAMTRAC or an NQF-accredited health and safety qualification
• You write clear reports in English
• Confident enough to stop unsafe work, even when the programme is tight
• SACPCMP registration as a Construction Health and Safety Officer
• At least 2 years as a safety officer on construction sites

• Paid SACPCMP renewal and CPD
• Clear growth path to a construction health and safety agent role
• Laptop and data for reporting
• Travel and site allowances
