Job Description

Selling to companies takes patience; at this industrial distributor in Cape Town CBD, big deals are worth the wait. This is a good step for someone who wants proper routine and a manager who notices good work.

The work is in Cape Town CBD, Western Cape, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day. Most weeks are 45 hours, in line with the BCEA.

What your day looks like

Negotiate contract terms, rentals and service-level agreements.
Book and run discovery meetings with buyers and procurement managers.
Chase overdue accounts with the credit department before they grow.
Visit key accounts monthly and check how the service is going.
Prospect new companies by phone, LinkedIn and walk-ins in business parks.

What you need

Valid driver's licence and your own reliable car
Solid presentation and negotiation skills
Confident with Excel, Outlook and a CRM
You close deals, not just collect meetings
