Job Description

You'll find, win and grow business clients for an office equipment supplier in Durban Central. You don't need to be the loudest person in the room, just the one others can count on.

You'll be based at an office equipment supplier in Durban Central. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. Shifts rotate, so you'll need to be flexible about days and nights.

What your day looks like

Work with operations to hand over new clients smoothly.
Visit key accounts monthly and check how the service is going.
Prospect new companies by phone, LinkedIn and walk-ins in business parks.
Forecast monthly sales and report pipeline value each Monday.
Log every lead, meeting and deal stage in the CRM.
Build quotes and proposals with correct pricing and margins.

Must-haves

Solid presentation and negotiation skills
Valid driver's licence and your own reliable car
You close deals, not just collect meetings
2 or more years of business-to-business sales with a proven record
Matric plus a sales, marketing or technical qualification
Confident with Excel, Outlook and a CRM

Helpful, not essential

A technical trade or engineering background for sales engineer roles
An existing network of buyers in your sector
Tender and CSD registration experience
