Job Description

Shelves sell the product, and at this pet food manufacturer you'll keep them full, neat and priced right. Bring a calm head on busy days and you'll be fine.

Home base is a pet food manufacturer on the Bellville side of Western Cape. Overtime comes up in peak season and is paid.

The work, day to day

Check shelf prices against the promo list and fix wrong tickets.
Pack shelves, rotate stock and remove damaged or expired lines.
Handle returns and credit claims for damaged stock.
Run in-store tastings and demos on month-end weekends.
Visit 8 to 15 outlets a day on a planned call cycle.
Send your manager a daily report with volumes against target.
Take orders from store managers and spaza owners on the sales app.

Must-haves

A valid Code 08 (Code B) driver's licence, for rep roles
Good with people from store managers to tuck-shop owners
You know the townships, suburbs and main roads of your area
You can work to daily and monthly volume targets
Comfortable with a smartphone sales app and WhatsApp reporting
Physically able to lift cases and pack shelves

Extra points for

Your own reliable car for a car-allowance position
A sales or marketing certificate
