Sales Rep (Beverages, Code 08)

Shelves sell the product, and at this beverage distributor you'll keep them full, neat and priced right. Someone who likes a bit of variety, but also likes doing things the right way, will enjoy this.

You'll be based at a beverage distributor in Centurion. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps.

• Pack shelves, rotate stock and remove damaged or expired lines.
• Check shelf prices against the promo list and fix wrong tickets.
• Log kilometres and fuel slips for the monthly claim.
• Visit 8 to 15 outlets a day on a planned call cycle.
• Collect cash or EFT proof on van sales and bank daily.
• Send your manager a daily report with volumes against target.

• A valid Code 08 (Code B) driver's licence, for rep roles
• Matric
• 1 to 3 years of FMCG, merchandising or route sales experience
• Comfortable with a smartphone sales app and WhatsApp reporting
• You know the townships, suburbs and main roads of your area

• Speaking two or more local languages
• A sales or marketing certificate
• Existing relationships with independent retailers

• Cellphone and data allowance
• Company vehicle or car allowance plus petrol card
• Branded uniform and safety boots
• Product samples and staff pricing

• Name the areas you know and the store types you have serviced (supermarket chains, independents, spazas) in your CV summary.
• Recruiters check your licence first, so attach a clear certified copy and note any clean driving record.
