Sales Rep (Beverages, Code 08)

Out on the road for a hardware and paint supplier in Secunda, your car is your office and the store floor is your pitch. It's the kind of job where doing the basics well every day gets you noticed.

You'll be based at a hardware and paint supplier in Secunda. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. You'll start with a short induction before working on your own.

• Send your manager a daily report with volumes against target.
• Visit 8 to 15 outlets a day on a planned call cycle.
• Log kilometres and fuel slips for the monthly claim.
• Handle returns and credit claims for damaged stock.
• Set up promotional displays and check planogram compliance with photos.

• Matric
• You know the townships, suburbs and main roads of your area
• Physically able to lift cases and pack shelves
• Comfortable with a smartphone sales app and WhatsApp reporting
• Good with people from store managers to tuck-shop owners
• You can work to daily and monthly volume targets

• Existing relationships with independent retailers
• Your own reliable car for a car-allowance position
• A sales or marketing certificate

• Monthly commission on volume and new accounts
• Branded uniform and safety boots
• Cellphone and data allowance
