Sales Rep (Beverages, Code 08)

This snack and confectionery wholesaler needs a rep in Vanderbijlpark who knows the shops, the owners and the numbers. Bring a calm head on busy days and you'll be fine.

You'll be based at a snack and confectionery wholesaler in Vanderbijlpark. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. Start date: as soon as possible for the right person.

• Collect cash or EFT proof on van sales and bank daily.
• Handle returns and credit claims for damaged stock.
• Send your manager a daily report with volumes against target.
• Log kilometres and fuel slips for the monthly claim.
• Take orders from store managers and spaza owners on the sales app.
• Check shelf prices against the promo list and fix wrong tickets.
• Run in-store tastings and demos on month-end weekends.

• Matric
• Physically able to lift cases and pack shelves
• You know the townships, suburbs and main roads of your area
• Good with people from store managers to tuck-shop owners

• Your own reliable car for a car-allowance position
• Existing relationships with independent retailers
• A sales or marketing certificate

• Company vehicle or car allowance plus petrol card
• Branded uniform and safety boots
• Cellphone and data allowance
• Monthly commission on volume and new accounts

• Bring numbers: cases sold per month, new outlets opened or growth percentages on your route.
