Security Area Manager (Night Rounds) – Immediate Start

You'll run a shift of officers at a mining operation in White River, keeping posts covered and standards high. This is a good step for someone who wants proper routine and a manager who notices good work.

Home base is a mining operation on the White River side of Mpumalanga. Overtime comes up in peak season and is paid.

• Order and issue uniform, radios and torches
• Investigate incidents and write reports for the client
• Plan the monthly roster to stay within legal working hours
• Check that PSIRA registrations of staff on site are current
• Run on-site training on procedures and emergency drills
• Do surprise night visits to check posts

• Confident writer of incident reports and rosters
• Matric, with a security management course a plus
• PSIRA Grade B (Grade A for area manager posts)
• At least 3 years in security, including 1 as a supervisor

• Computer skills for rosters in Excel or a workforce app
• Labour relations or basic supervision course
• Own reliable vehicle
