Security Operations Supervisor (Retail Portfolio)

Officers look to you on every shift at a guarding contract across several sites in Worcester. This role rewards consistency more than flash.

You'll be based at a guarding contract across several sites in Worcester. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps.

• Check that PSIRA registrations of staff on site are current
• Investigate incidents and write reports for the client
• Post officers when the shift changes over and cover no-shows
• Do surprise night visits to check posts
• Meet the client weekly on security concerns
• Inspect guards on post for uniform, alertness and OB entries
• Run on-site training on procedures and emergency drills

• Firm with staff but fair and consistent
• Available after hours for emergencies
• At least 3 years in security, including 1 as a supervisor
• Valid Code 8 licence and willing to drive between sites

• Mining or hospital security experience
• Labour relations or basic supervision course

• Company vehicle or car allowance on area roles
• Cellphone allowance
• Provident fund and funeral cover

• Mention how you handled absenteeism or roster gaps. It is the biggest daily headache for security companies.
