Job Description

A security company in Centurion wants a firm, fair supervisor for its retail portfolio. It suits someone who likes knowing exactly what a good day's work looks like.

You'll be based at a retail portfolio in Centurion. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. Hours are mostly Monday to Friday, with the odd Saturday in busy months.

What your day looks like

Plan the monthly roster to stay within legal working hours
Order and issue uniform, radios and torches
Post officers when the shift changes over and cover no-shows
Investigate incidents and write reports for the client
Meet the client weekly on security concerns
Handle discipline issues fairly and keep written records
Run on-site training on procedures and emergency drills

You'll need

Available after hours for emergencies
At least 3 years in security, including 1 as a supervisor
Confident writer of incident reports and rosters
PSIRA Grade B (Grade A for area manager posts)
