Job Description

You'll run a shift of officers at a residential estate in Centurion, keeping posts covered and standards high. Bring a calm head on busy days and you'll be fine.

Home base is a residential estate on the Centurion side of Gauteng. Most weeks are 45 hours, in line with the BCEA.

The work, day to day

Handle discipline issues fairly and keep written records
Do surprise night visits to check posts
Inspect guards on post for uniform, alertness and OB entries
Order and issue uniform, radios and torches
Plan the monthly roster to stay within legal working hours

What you need

PSIRA Grade B (Grade A for area manager posts)
Valid Code 8 licence and willing to drive between sites
Available after hours for emergencies
Firm with staff but fair and consistent
At least 3 years in security, including 1 as a supervisor
Matric, with a security management course a plus
