Job Description

A security company in Springs wants a firm, fair supervisor for its residential estate. You'll work with a small crew, so being easy to work with matters as much as skill.

Home base is a residential estate on the Springs side of Gauteng. Overtime comes up in peak season and is paid.

What you'll actually do

Post officers when the shift changes over and cover no-shows
Do surprise night visits to check posts
Inspect guards on post for uniform, alertness and OB entries
Check that PSIRA registrations of staff on site are current
Meet the client weekly on security concerns
Handle discipline issues fairly and keep written records

What you need

At least 3 years in security, including 1 as a supervisor
PSIRA Grade B (Grade A for area manager posts)
Valid Code 8 licence and willing to drive between sites
Matric, with a security management course a plus

Helpful, not essential

Mining or hospital security experience
Computer skills for rosters in Excel or a workforce app
