Security Site Supervisor (Grade B)

Officers look to you on every shift at a guarding contract across several sites in Tzaneen. People who do well here are steady, honest and not scared to ask when something is unclear.

You'll report in Tzaneen. Relocation is not covered for this one. Start is planned for the beginning of next month.

• Order and issue uniform, radios and torches
• Post officers when the shift changes over and cover no-shows
• Inspect guards on post for uniform, alertness and OB entries
• Run on-site training on procedures and emergency drills
• Investigate incidents and write reports for the client
• Meet the client weekly on security concerns

• Matric, with a security management course a plus
• Firm with staff but fair and consistent
• Available after hours for emergencies
• Confident writer of incident reports and rosters
• At least 3 years in security, including 1 as a supervisor
• Valid Code 8 licence and willing to drive between sites

• Own reliable vehicle
• Labour relations or basic supervision course

• Management training for growth to operations manager

• Say how many officers you supervised and on which sites. The number matters more than the title.
• If you have been upgraded through the grades, show the progression. It proves you grew on the job.
