Senior Payroll Officer (Group Companies) – Permanent

Accurate payslips, clean tax filings and happy staff: that's the job at a hospitality group in eMalahleni. You don't need to be the loudest person in the room, just the one others can count on.

Home base is a hospitality group on the eMalahleni side of Mpumalanga. Most weeks are 45 hours, in line with the BCEA.

• Release the salary bank file for authorisation
• Capture new hires, terminations, increases and deductions before cut-off
• Import clock-card data and check overtime against approved hours
• Compile bi-annual EMP501 reconciliations and issue IRP5 certificates
• Calculate leave pay, notice pay and final pay under the BCEA

• At least 2 years of full-function payroll
• Comfortable with Excel reconciliations
• You keep salary information private under POPIA
• Experience on Sage 300 People, VIP, PaySpace or SimplePay
• Reliable with deadlines that cannot move

• Bargaining council wage experience, such as MIBCO or the security sector
• Knowledge of employment equity and WSP reporting

• Structured increases linked to certification
