Service Desk Consultant (Furniture Store)

This mall cellular store in Pretoria East needs someone friendly who can fix account problems while the queue moves. Expect to be trusted with real work from your first week.

Home base is a mall cellular store on the Pretoria East side of Gauteng. There's a probation period of three months before the contract is confirmed.

• Book repairs and warranty claims and give customers a reference number.
• Update customer details and file signed forms for audit.
• Call customers when repairs or orders are ready to collect.
• Upsell contract upgrades, accessories or cover when it fits the customer.
• Take payments, balance your till and bank cash at close.
• Track parcels, reissue waybills and arrange redelivery at the counter.

• Retail hours, including Saturdays, Sundays and month-end
• Good on a computer and point-of-sale system
• Matric (Grade 12) certificate
• Accurate with cash and paperwork
• Retail or customer service experience of at least a year
• You can stay polite with a long queue watching

• Fixed roster published two weeks ahead
• Product training and certifications paid for
• Staff discount on products
