Shelf Packer (Supermarket, Weekend Shift) – Permanent

Night fill, weekends or month-end rush, a township shopping centre store in Centurion needs extra hands. If you learn fast and don't mind being shown things twice, you'll settle in within a few weeks.

You'll be based at a township shopping centre store in Centurion. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. Hours are mostly Monday to Friday, with the odd Saturday in busy months.

• Face products so labels point forward and gaps are filled
• Pack shelves from the back, rotating older stock to the front (first in, first out)
• Check sell-by dates and pull expired stock for the manager
• Weigh, bag and price fruit and vegetables
• Clean spills fast and put up wet-floor signs

• Available for weekends, month-end and public holidays
• Able to stand and lift cases all shift
• Honest, since stock losses are checked closely
• Basic reading and maths for price checks
• Grade 10 or matric
• Neat appearance and punctual

• Being 18 or older for liquor store roles
• Own transport for route merchandising jobs

• Staff discount on groceries
• Paid training in store procedures
• Chance to move into till or department roles
