Shelf Packer (Supermarket, Weekend Shift)

Shoppers in Kathu judge a liquor store by its shelves, and that is where you come in. Someone who likes a bit of variety, but also likes doing things the right way, will enjoy this.

You'll report in Kathu. Relocation is not covered for this one. Shifts rotate, so you'll need to be flexible about days and nights.

• Clean spills fast and put up wet-floor signs
• Check sell-by dates and pull expired stock for the manager
• Unpack deliveries in the receiving area and sort by aisle
• Weigh, bag and price fruit and vegetables
• Help customers find products and carry heavy items to cars
• Put up price tickets and promotion shelf strips
• Collect trolleys from the parking lot

• Honest, since stock losses are checked closely
• Neat appearance and punctual
• Basic reading and maths for price checks
• Grade 10 or matric
• Able to stand and lift cases all shift

• Paid training in store procedures
• Staff discount on groceries
• Chance to move into till or department roles

• Stores fill weekend and night-fill slots first, so write "available weekends and nights" in your CV summary line.
• If you have ever sold anything, even at a school tuck shop or a family stall, list it. It shows you are comfortable with customers.
