Shift Supervisor (Guarding Contract)

Officers look to you on every shift at a hospital complex in Thohoyandou. People who do well here are steady, honest and not scared to ask when something is unclear.

The work is in Thohoyandou, Limpopo, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day.

• Run on-site training on procedures and emergency drills
• Check that PSIRA registrations of staff on site are current
• Plan the monthly roster to stay within legal working hours
• Order and issue uniform, radios and torches
• Inspect guards on post for uniform, alertness and OB entries
• Handle discipline issues fairly and keep written records
• Do surprise night visits to check posts

• Valid Code 8 licence and willing to drive between sites
• Matric, with a security management course a plus
• At least 3 years in security, including 1 as a supervisor
• Confident writer of incident reports and rosters
• Available after hours for emergencies
• PSIRA Grade B (Grade A for area manager posts)
