Shift Supervisor (Guarding Contract) – Experienced

Step up from guarding into supervising on a retail portfolio in White River. It's a practical job: you'll see what you got done before you go home.

This post is White River-based, with most of your time spent at a retail portfolio. Weekend work is on a roster, so you won't be on every weekend.

• Post officers when the shift changes over and cover no-shows
• Handle discipline issues fairly and keep written records
• Order and issue uniform, radios and torches
• Plan the monthly roster to stay within legal working hours
• Inspect guards on post for uniform, alertness and OB entries
• Meet the client weekly on security concerns

• Firm with staff but fair and consistent
• Valid Code 8 licence and willing to drive between sites
• Confident writer of incident reports and rosters
• Available after hours for emergencies

• Mining or hospital security experience
• Own reliable vehicle

• Provident fund and funeral cover
• Cellphone allowance
• Company vehicle or car allowance on area roles

• Say how many officers you supervised and on which sites. The number matters more than the title.
• If you have been upgraded through the grades, show the progression. It proves you grew on the job.
