Site Security Officer (Construction Yard) – Experienced

Residents and staff at a distribution warehouse in Epping need to feel safe when they arrive; that is your job. This role rewards consistency more than flash.

You'll be based at a distribution warehouse in Epping. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. Start date: as soon as possible for the right person.

• Test the panic button and radio when you come on duty
• Write every incident and shift change in the occurrence book (OB)
• Call the armed response or SAPS number from the call list when needed
• Keep the guardhouse clean and the OB up to date for the relieving officer
• Direct traffic and parking during school drop-off or big events

• Speaks and writes basic English
• Grade 10 minimum; matric preferred
• Able to work 12-hour day and night shifts, including weekends
• PSIRA registration at Grade C or higher, paid up to date

• Stable long-term site contracts
• Paid night-shift allowance under the security sector rules
• Uniform, boots and winter jacket issued
