Site Security Officer (Construction Yard) – Fixed-Term

Steady 12-hour shifts at a distribution warehouse in Isando for PSIRA-registered officers. It suits someone who likes knowing exactly what a good day's work looks like.

Home base is a distribution warehouse on the Isando side of Gauteng. Start is planned for the beginning of next month.

• Watch for loitering, broken fencing and open doors during night patrols
• Check visitors' IDs and capture them on the visitor app or in the gate register
• Direct traffic and parking during school drop-off or big events
• Search vehicles and bags leaving the site when company policy requires it
• Call the armed response or SAPS number from the call list when needed

• Clear, neat handwriting for the OB and registers
• Able to work 12-hour day and night shifts, including weekends
• Physically fit for foot patrols
• Alert, polite and firm with the public
• Speaks and writes basic English
• Clean criminal record

• Previous experience at a similar site type
• Experience on estate access apps or biometric readers

• Chance to be upgraded to Grade B with training
• Uniform, boots and winter jacket issued
• Stable long-term site contracts
