Job Description

Stand in front of a class of adults at a corporate training academy in Centurion and make the work make sense. Someone who likes a bit of variety, but also likes doing things the right way, will enjoy this.

The work is in Centurion, Gauteng, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day.

The work, day to day

Facilitate classroom and workplace sessions against the learning programme
Give feedback on course materials so the next intake runs better
Moderate other assessors' decisions and sign off moderation reports
Coach learners who are behind and plan re-assessments
Run practical demonstrations in the workshop with safety briefings
Assess portfolios of evidence and write clear feedback to learners

What you need

Own transport for training at client sites
At least 3 years of working experience in the subject field
Relevant qualification at least one NQF level above the one you'll teach
Registered assessor, with moderator registration for moderator posts

Extra points for

Teaching qualification or Higher Certificate in adult education
Experience with QCTO occupational qualifications
Trade test certificate for artisan training posts
