Skills Development Facilitator (Learnerships)

A public TVET college in Prospecton needs a facilitator who can teach, assess and keep the paperwork audit-ready. If you like clear targets and knowing where you stand, this is for you.

The site is in Prospecton; early starts mean public transport timing matters, so check your route before applying. There's a probation period of three months before the contract is confirmed.

• Give feedback on course materials so the next intake runs better
• Assess portfolios of evidence and write clear feedback to learners
• Keep attendance registers and learner files ready for SETA verification
• Facilitate classroom and workplace sessions against the learning programme
• Sit in on workplace visits to confirm learners are doing real tasks
• Run practical demonstrations in the workshop with safety briefings

• Confident presenting to groups of 20 or more adults
• Registered assessor, with moderator registration for moderator posts
• At least 3 years of working experience in the subject field
• Good report writing and record keeping

• Experience with learning management systems such as Moodle
• Experience with QCTO occupational qualifications
• Trade test certificate for artisan training posts

• Paid re-registration with your SETA
• Travel allowance or company car for site training
• Holiday breaks between intakes at colleges
• Day-rate contracts with steady bookings

• Show your industry years separately from your training years; providers need both.
