Soft Skills Trainer (Corporate Academy)

Stand in front of a class of adults at a corporate training academy in Gqeberha and make the work make sense. If you learn fast and don't mind being shown things twice, you'll settle in within a few weeks.

This post is Gqeberha-based, with most of your time spent at a corporate training academy. There's a probation period of three months before the contract is confirmed.

• Run practical demonstrations in the workshop with safety briefings
• Assess portfolios of evidence and write clear feedback to learners
• Facilitate classroom and workplace sessions against the learning programme
• Give feedback on course materials so the next intake runs better
• Load learner results onto the SETA or QCTO system
• Develop lesson plans, case studies and assessment guides

• Computer literate in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• At least 3 years of working experience in the subject field
• Relevant qualification at least one NQF level above the one you'll teach
• Registered assessor, with moderator registration for moderator posts
• Own transport for training at client sites

• Teaching qualification or Higher Certificate in adult education
• Experience with QCTO occupational qualifications
• Experience with learning management systems such as Moodle

• Holiday breaks between intakes at colleges
• Day-rate contracts with steady bookings
• Travel allowance or company car for site training
• Paid re-registration with your SETA
