Store Assistant (Night Fill)

You'll keep the shelves full and tidy at a hardware and building store in Fourways, so shoppers find what they came for. You'll work with a small crew, so being easy to work with matters as much as skill.

Home base is a hardware and building store on the Fourways side of Gauteng. You'll start with a short induction before working on your own.

• Clean spills fast and put up wet-floor signs
• Put up price tickets and promotion shelf strips
• Build promotional displays at the ends of aisles
• Pack shelves from the back, rotating older stock to the front (first in, first out)
• Face products so labels point forward and gaps are filled
• Unpack deliveries in the receiving area and sort by aisle
• Help customers find products and carry heavy items to cars

• Basic reading and maths for price checks
• Able to stand and lift cases all shift
• Available for weekends, month-end and public holidays
• Honest, since stock losses are checked closely
• Neat appearance and punctual

• Previous shelf packing or merchandising work
• Being 18 or older for liquor store roles
• Some till or cash-handling experience

• Staff discount on groceries
